the descriptions for each below:

Swedish Massage
Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people

think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of

the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body.

This type of massage is not recommended for someone seeking pain management.

Deep Tissue Massage
This form of massage is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas

such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Some of the strokes are the same as those used in classic massage therapy, but

the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain.

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Massage is used to treat painful muscle areas, areas which contain trigger points. These trigger points are knots of muscle that emerge when muscles cannot relax. Many people feel these knots under the skin. Trigger points often

irritate surrounding nerves. That causes pain near the trigger points – and pain that often spreads to other parts of the body as well.

Prenatal Massage
A massage focused just around the mother to be.  Studies indicate that massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease

symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health.
